Eden Daniel

Eden Daniel was born in Ethiopia and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved 3,000 miles to attend school at Reed College in Portland, Oregon and graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s in Cultural Anthropology.  It took her six years instead of four to obtain this degree, but in that time she gained a valuable perspective on how to navigate higher education with significant mental health challenges. Eden feels empowered to share this perspective in hopes that it may contribute to more inclusive college environments across the country. She is currently working in the healthcare industry in her hometown of Cincinnati, OH, and hopes to gain a variety of experiences and discover her passions as she figures out her next steps in life.
